Our Story

Andy Zantow is a skilled carpenter with expertise across various facets of home improvement. His approach to work is grounded in the biblical principle: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord..." (Colossians 3:23). As a result, Andy's exceptional craftsmanship is evident in every project he undertakes. He acquired the moniker "Handy Andy" due to his adeptness at fixing things, devising alternative solutions for home renovations, and successfully replicating home Pinterest pictures.

In addition to his carpentry skills, Andy is a military veteran who dedicated over 11 years to working as a relay technician for an electric company in NJ. Andy is a collaborative team player and thrives on working with others. Andy is deeply passionate about enhancing people's homes and embraces the challenge of exploring new renovation projects to meet the unique needs of his clients.

In the year 2020, Andy embarked on a new venture by establishing his own business, Zantow Services, LLC. In this role, he efficiently managed Air B&B rental homes while also undertaking a variety of projects in residential and commercial spaces. Fast forward to 2023, with his wife retiring from teaching, the couple made the decision to relocate to Nexton in Summerville, SC.

During this transition, Andy identified a prevalent need for revitalizing closets. The infamous "wire" design is a common woe in many homes. This realization sparked Andy's passion for transformation, turning closets into beautiful, organized spaces. Inspired by this vision, "Calvary Closets," named after the church where him and his wife met, was brought to life! This family owned business was determined to transform these rooms into aesthetically pleasing, organized retreats. Although Calvary Closets is focused on closet conversion and enhancement, Andy also specializes in various other projects around the house.
